The Year of the Dog | UK Electronics

In case you’d forgotten we would like to remind you that all the factories in China will close on, or around, Friday 9th February 2018 for two weeks, and as always there will be longer than normal lead times in the four or five weeks after they return to work.

They struggle to catch up with the backlog. So please expect fairly long delays when they return to work. This year I think it may be a little worse than normal as all the factories appear to be very busy already in the build up to our festive holidays.

We are recommending if you have any volume orders you need for early to mid-February 2018 that these are placed no later than 5th January 2018, and this also goes for any orders you may need in February, March or even early April.

We are happy to hold them at our factory and ship them in February, March or April as you require them.

We will advise you a little nearer the time for the deadline for placing smaller batch, quick turnaround orders.

If you have any specific requirements, or concerns, please do not hesitate to give us a call and we will be happy to discuss them with you.

Kindest Regards,

Neil Carr
