The company has begun a major expansion project that will increase its site size by 50%, enhance production capabilities, and introduce a new generation of automated equipment designed to meet customer needs faster and more efficiently.
Expansion of the UK Electronics Site
The project extends the current site from 12,000 sq ft to 18,000 sq ft, adding 6,000 sq ft of new space. This isn’t just about adding more room — it’s about creating a facility purpose-built for the next era of UK electronics manufacturing.
What’s included in the expansion?
- A dedicated Surface Mount (SMT) production area capable of housing four fully automated lines.
- A larger stores and materials management area for improved logistics.
- A new reception, main office, and boardroom designed to create a modern, efficient working environment.
Increasing Manufacturing Capacity and Efficiency
When completed, the expansion will immediately deliver a 50% increase in production capacity. The upgraded SMT facility will feature three fully automated surface mount lines, with a fourth planned to support future growth. This step-change in capacity enables UK Electronics to deliver faster turnaround times, higher production volumes, and even greater consistency — essential for clients in sectors such as automotive, medical, industrial, and consumer electronics.
