UKE achieves the latest ISO9001:2015

UK Electronics Limited are pleased to announce that it has achieved the latest ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System standard certified by Alcumus ISOQAR regulated by BSI.  The award follows a rigorous examination of all procedures and performance relating to leadership, risk management and satisfying customer requirements.  Achieving this standard demonstrates UK Electronics continuing commitment to the highest levels of quality management and customer satisfaction.

ISO 9001:2015 is the newest update to the Quality Management System standard, which provides an integrated approach to quality management and continuous improvement, helping to monitor and manage quality across all key processes, as well as achieving consistent performance and service. There have been significant changes since the last revision of ISO 9001:2008 and achieving ISO9001:2015 ensures that all certified companies comply to the latest Quality Management System requirements.

ISO 14001:2015. In May 2014 UK Electronics received an accreditation for ISO 14001:2004.  We recently transitioned to ISO
14001:2015 and will be audited on an annual basis along with our ISO 9001:2015 accreditation. At UK Electronics we are committed to the protection of the environment and to the promotion of sustainable development. All of our employees are encouraged to reduce, re-use and recycle as much waste as possible. Over the past 15 years we have been working to reduce the number of potentially harmful chemicals we use in our production processes, for example we have changed to water based flux, water based conformal coating and to lead free and colophony solders. Additionally, we have been fully RoHS compliant since the directive came in to place in 2006.

The UK Electronics team have worked hard to improve standards of performance and service at all levels in line with the reviewed certification.  This ensures customers can have complete confidence across the range of products from design, development and production of electronic printed circuit assemblies through to assembly of electronic systems and subsystems and final box build manufactured to the highest standard.
